Nardamed was founded by Op. Dr. Meric Cagri Agir is a certified obstetrician and gynecologist with nearly 20 years of clinical experience in Turkey. A graduate of the prestigious Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Ağır has delivered more than 15,000 babies and treated countless patients from around the world in the fields of infertility, laparoscopic surgery, vaginal aesthetics, and general gynecology.
Before moving to New York, Dr. Agir served in both public and private hospitals, including in chief physician roles, where he gained extensive expertise in patient care, surgical procedures, and healthcare system management.
His academic contributions include teaching Hospital Management at the graduate level at Nişantaşı University, as well as serving as Department Chair at Galata University. In addition to his medical degree, he holds a Business Administration degree and a Master’s in Hospital and Health Management, giving him a unique perspective that bridges medicine and healthcare operations.
After relocating to the United States, Dr. Agir joined the elite Seckin Endometriosis Center in New York, where he worked as a clinical coordinator and medical editor. In 2024, he founded Nardamed to help patients access world-class healthcare services in Turkey with transparency and safety.
